Dear Sir,
As you are aware, all insurers have been furnishing monthly business statistics with the Authority on a regular basis, as per the prescribed proforma.
In order to facilitate online compilation of the business figures, the insurers are advised to strictly comply with the format attached. The points mentioned below may also be noted while furnishing the premium figures to the Authority.
- The premium figures are to be indicated in Rs. lakhs only.
- Accretions to be mentioned in terms of premium (Rs.lakhs).
- Figures in Rs. lakhs to be indicated upto two points of decimal.
- If there are no figures corresponding to a particular cell, either indicate zero or leave the cell blank. Do not indicate any alphabetic letters. (eg. N/A, NIL etc.)
- The lines of business to be segregated strictly as per the enclosed Performa.
- The corresponding previous year’s figures may be separately indicated in italics. Do not use brackets while indicating the previous year’s figures.
- In addition to furnishing the data through post, so as to reach the Authority by the 5 th of the succeeding month, the same may also be mailed to the following email id: mamta@irda.gov.in.
The said proforma may strictly be adhered to while furnishing information for the month of April, 2003 onwards.
