Dear Sir/Madam,

In consideration of the comments and suggestions received by the Authority in response to the Notice dated 2nd August, 2004 issued by the Chairman, it has been decided by the Authority to issue the enclosed standard instructions and guidelines applicable for approval/renewal of agents training institutes. These instructions and guidelines are issued under the duties, powers and functions of the Authority and are to be complied in conjunction with Section 42 of the Insurance Act and Insurance Agents Regulations made by the Authority. This order is issued for the purposes of regulation and promotion orderly growth of insurance industry and matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
