We draw your attention to the above circular dated 26th February, 2001 issued by the Authority with regard to launching of any new product in the Indian market. No insurer shall launch any insurance product into the market without complying with the provisions of the said circular. No insurer shall distribute the product through any person who is not lincenced as per the provisions of the Insurance Act, 1938 for the purpose of soliciting and procuring insurance business. Please acknowledge the receipt of this circular at the earliest.
