Invitation for Comments - Expert Committee on issues pertaining
to practice of special discount and remuneration Insurance Brokers
and Insurance Agents
IRDA has recently constituted an Expert Committee for examining the practice
of special discount as also the remuneration structure of insurance brokers
and insurance agents in general insurance business. The Committee comprises:
Mr. A. C. Mukherjee as Chairman, and Mr. G.V. Rao and Mr. K.N. Bhandari
as Members and the terms of reference are given in IRDA/CIR/022/2003 dated
1st September 2003 already placed on our website on 2nd September, 2003
for your information and comments.
The Committee as part of its deliberations is keen to elicit your views
on the various issues as mentioned in Terms of Reference. To facilitate
this process the Chairman of the Committee and the Members shall be available
