The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority, in association with Prasar Bharati, is telecasting phone-in programmes in regional languages on various topics related to insurance for the benefit of the public. The topics covered are Concept of Insurance, What is life insurance?, What is General Insurance?, Distribution channels in Insurance and Policyholder Grievances.

The public are invited to participate in these phone-in programmes to clear their doubts on the said topics which would be telecast at Doordarshan Kendra during the 4th week of every month (Feb to June, 2005).
