The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 101B of the Insurance Act, 1938 with the previous sanction of the Central Government hereby constitutes the Advisory Committee for the purposes of Section 101A. The Committee shall consist of the following members:-

1. Shri C.N.S. Shastri - Chairman of the Committee
2. Shri G.V. Rao - Member
3. Shri A.N. Poddar - Member
4. Shri K.N. Bhandari - Member

The term of office, allowances payable to the Chairman and Members of the Committee, the procedure to be followed and the requirement of quorum necessary for transaction of business etc. shall be as specified in the IRDA (Reinsurance Advisory Committee) Regulations, 2001.
