IDBI Fortis Life Insurance Co. Ltd, a joint venture life insurance company promoted by IDBI, Federal Bank, India and Fortis Insurance International, Netherlands has been registered as a Life Insurer under Section 3 of the Insurance Act, 1938 with the Authority. The Certificate of Registration (Forms IRDA/R3) has been issued by the Authority today. With this registration, the total number of life insurers registered with the Authority has gone up to 18.
