Pursuant to the orders contained in Government of India Notification No. 11/2/2004-Ins.IV dated 17th February, 2005, Mr. C.R. Muralidharan has assumed charge as Whole-time Member of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority this day. He will be dealing with the following subjects:

1) Investments;
2) Accounts of the Insurers and Intermediaries;
3) Off-site monitoring of the insurance companies.
