Re: Implementation of Surveyors and Loss Assessors Regulations, 2000, their categorization and application of financial limits Insurer's attention is invited to the Authority's decision on categorization of surveyors wherein it was decided that a category "A" surveyor shall work for category "A" & "B" limits, category "B" surveyor shall work for category B" and category "C" limits and category "C" surveyor for category "C" limits. It is once again brought to the notice of all the insurers that the present system of assigning work on the basis of categorization will continue and all insurers are advised to ensure compliance with the above while allocating work to the surveyors.
