CAR - HIRE : REQUEST FOR QUOTATION

Requirement: 2-4 Diesel driven Indica/Indigo on Monthly Hire, Diesel/Petrol driven Indica,Indigo, Esteem, Qualis, Innova on demand on daily or dropping/pick-up basis.

  1. Period: The contract will be initially for one year from 1.8.2006 with provision for extension for further periods on the same terms and conditions or on terms negotiated and mutually agreed to.
  2. Eligibility: As at the date of submission
    • The Agency/Firm should be in the same line of business for the last five years.
    • Financially sound as supported by documents
    • Should own at least 10 Diesel Indica/Indigo cars of Make- 2005 onwards.
  1. Other conditions:
      • The vehicles to be supplied on monthly hire should be available for our use through out the month excepting on any two days for maintenance for up keeping of the vehicle etc.
      • The vehicles to be hired on daily or dropping/pick-up basis will be on call basis booked by the Authorized persons from IRDA.
      • The cars to be supplied shall be in good running condition, with valid road permits from the Road Transport Authorities
      • The Drivers shall have minimum 5 years of experience, with blemishless record and shall hold valid driving Licence at all times.
      • The Bills shall be claimed monthly with in 15 days from the last day of the previous month. The bills should be supported by Duty Slips duly signed by the Users. All the payments will be credited to the Service Provider’s Bank Account.
      • The Agency/Firm should furnish Bank Account No., PAN and Service Tax Reg etc.
      • Parking charges are to be claimed separately will be re-imbursed on submission of the proof of payments.
      • The rent quoted for the monthly hired vehicles shall be for a total run upto 2400 KM in a month. The Vehicle should be kept at our disposal from 8AM to 8PM on every day. The rates for detaining the vehicle beyond 8 PM and indenting and positioning before 8AM shall be quoted separately. Similarly the rates for KMs run beyond 2400 KM in a month may also be quoted separately.
      • The rates quoted are deemed to have been indexed to the Fuel price as on the date of quote. Any revisions in rates subsequent to the contract date will be with reference to this price of fuel only.
      • For supply of vehicles on daily basis the rates may be quoted for each type of car separately. The Maximum run of KM and Time, and the rates for additional KM and time, for daily hire may also be indicated.
      • The logging will be from Garage to Garage subject to a maximum of 10 KM each way.
