The vendors are required to submit Technical Bid highlighting the features of the desktop proposed to be supplied along with a Commercial Bid.  The format of Commercial Bids to be submitted is as follows:

 Taxes if any should be explicitly stated in the Commercial Bid.

 Technical Bid & Commercial Bid should be submitted separately in sealed envelope superscribing on the envelope "Technical / Commercial (Strike whichever is not applicable) bid for the supply desktops", in person to the following address on or before 3.00 PM on 10^th May 2010.

Terms & Conditions:

 1.    Prices quoted should be valid for a period of 30 days.

2.    IRDA will not take in to consideration, any variation in the $ price.

3.    The price to be quoted should be inclusive of all

4.    The desktops should be supplied within 02 (Two) weeks from the date of purchase order.

5.    Penalty for delay:

For any delay in supply of the equipments beyond the specific period, IRDA will charge penalty @ 1% of the order per week or part thereof, subject to a maximum of 10%. In case, the amount equal to 10% of the order value is deductible as penalty and the vendor is still unable to complete supply and Installation, the Authority reserves the right to cancel the order and no payment will be made to the vendor.

6.    Payment:

a.    90% of the order value payable on successful installation and issue of acceptance certificate to that effect by us.

b.    10% of the order value payable on expiry of the warranty period or against bank guarantee valid for the warranty period for the same amount.

c.    All payment will be released against invoices raised by the vendor.

7.    Three Years on-site comprehensive warranty MUST be provided          

8.    Only Authorized Service Providers (ASP) / Authorized Channel partners who has in-house support center and will be able to provide onsite support can quote for this tender.

9.    IRDA reserves the right to reject all or any of the quotations without assigning any reason thereof.

10. Order Cancellation:

IRDA reserves its right to cancel the order in the event of one or more of the following situations:

a.    Delay in delivery beyond the specified period.                                                                 

b.    Delay in installation beyond 02 weeks from the date of Purchase Order.

11. The decision regarding short listing / selection of vendor shall be with the Authority and shall be final.
